running at 7500 rpm, the air flow is 196 cubic feet per minute per side. Through a 2" diameter pipe that air hits 104 miles per hour. Not near 300 mph. The air before the turbos is going faster since the volume must be compressed to make the 196 cfm the engine moves. Also you have the pressure drop through the intake piping which means the velocity must be greater since you are moving less dense air. The air between the filters and the turbos is likely moving at over 300 mph if boost is high enough, and pressure drop is great enough.
